God asks,
“Why do you seek the living among the dead?”
They sought him among the dead
because no one had heard him say that he would not be there.
They came to anoint his body.
The Sabbath was over, but he was not there.
He met many of them that day, and in the days to come.
They began to say with joy “HE IS RISEN.”
He told them,
“You are witnesses of these things
behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you.”
They waited, and he came again
“With power from on high.”
From that day to this
his Church has had but one thing to say in all the earth:
HE IS RISEN
HE IS RISEN
HE IS RISEN
Therefore,
fear not,
be thankful,
boast of God.
HE IS RISEN
HALLELUJAH!
May the blessings of the Risen Lord and this Easter Season empower you with His Spirit to shout, “Jesus is risen and he is my Lord.”

Thank you to Jim Keefe and his family for making the Seder Supper so special this year. The tables looked lovely, thank you to all of those women who put it together after the 9:00 Mass on Friday morning. Of course, needless to say, the food was great! A special thank you to Jim and Father Colletti and the readers at the Tenebrae Service after the supper. It was a wonderful and meaningful service for all who attended. Thanks to the crew who stayed long after the festivities to clean up the parish center. This is what community is all about!
Holy Humor
Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning Lord," And there are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good Lord, it's morning."
